Travel Sustainably to Our Practice
St Augustine's Medical Practice are committed to creating a healthier planet for everyone. As part of our journey to becoming a greener practice, we’re encouraging sustainable travel options for all our patients and visitors.
Limited Parking Availability
Parking availability around our practice is extremely limited, reflecting the challenges of urban spaces and the environmental impact of car use. The above options not only reduce environmental strain but also help ease congestion and improve air quality around the practice. Cars contribute to traffic congestion and the “urban heat island effect,” where concrete and asphalt surfaces absorb and retain heat, raising temperatures in urban areas and worsening the effects of climate change.
Please turn off engines whilst waiting to reduce admissions.
Walking or Cycling
If you live nearby, walking or cycling to your appointment is a fantastic way to reduce your carbon footprint while staying active and healthy.
Public Transport
Our practice is well-served by local bus routes, making public transport a great option for reaching us without the need to park. Check your local bus / travel timetable to find the most convenient route.
