Community Pharmacy Services

Many local pharmacies are now able to give out medicine for seven common health conditions that would have previously needed a prescription from a GP.

The conditions covered are:

Conjunctivitis
Female urine infections
Impetigo
Infected insect bites
Shingles
Skin conditions - eczema and dermatitis
Sore throats

Please contact our reception team who can send a referral to a participating chemist of your choice - there are specific criteria suitable for the pharmacy, which our receptionists must check.
